She will then explain to you about the methods (or techniques), processes of the Mons Pubis Reduction (Mons Pubis Lift), some potential post-operative risks and complications prior to decision-making. You may also be asked about your expectations for the surgery and if you have any allergies or any condition that wouldn’t make you a good candidate for the surgery as well as other additional inquiries.

4) The Processes of the Mons Pubis Reduction (Mons Pubis Lift) Surgery

  •  While you are sleeping, Dr. Vitasna will perform the surgery by removing excess tissue and skin of the Mons Pubis. The Surgery requires careful and precise excision. Dr. Vitasna will try to reconstruct the enlarged Mons Pubis to produce the desired result. Afterwards, Dr. Vitasna will suture the surgical wound. The suturing is done alternatively with 2 or 3 layers to avoid post-operative complications from bleeding.
  • The surgical wound needs to be covered with a gauze pack after surgery to stop the bleeding. The blood and lymph drainage tubes are positioned on the abdominal surface, and a urinary catheter is inserted which will be removed within 3-5 days after surgery.
